Dr. Michael Ewing grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and moved to Corpus Christi during high school. He received an undergraduate degree at Dallas Baptist University, a Masters of Science at UNT Health Science Center.
He then graduated with Honors from Texas A&M Medical School and went on to complete his general surgery residency at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Dr. Ewing was named outstanding resident teacher by Texas A&M Medicine. He recently returned to Corpus Christi to serve the community, specializing in robotic and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Ewing is board certified with the American College of Surgeons.
Dr. Ewing performs surgery for breast cancer, colon and small bowel diseases, complex abdominal and para-esophageal/hiatal hernias, gastric disease, melanoma and other skin cancers, thyroid and parathyroid disease, adrenal/spleen, gallbladder and appendiceal disease.
